Since its founding, the Group has practiced philosophy management based on the spirit of altruism.

The spirit of “altruism” is having a compassionate and pure heart that wants to serve others. The core of our business philosophy is our desire to bring smiles to the faces of many people and to contribute to the prosperity of people, plants, and animals on the earth. We base our judgment on the criteria of right or wrong, rather than profit or loss, and possess “righteousness” and “compassion”, and share the value that “the pleasure of others is the pleasure of oneself”, while valuing being close to clients.

"SUSTAINABILITY" that is integrated with our spirit of “altruism”

In March 2022, we formulated our Sustainability Vision, through which we are aiming for sustainability that is integrated with our spirit of altruism.

Sustainability Vision

We will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through our business activities while respecting the heart of altruism, the Group policy.

Important issues to be resolved through business activities

The Group's core business is to increase the value of small and medium-sized office buildings in central Tokyo. Our business model is not scrap-and-build. It is a business model that effectively utilizes limited resources and gives buildings a new lease of life that adds new value in line with the times. This business model can significantly curb waste and greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the lifecycle costs of buildings. In addition, we support the maintenance of high asset value even in older buildings by managing them after increasing their value.

By adding value to office buildings, we aim to restore the bustle and vitality of not only the buildings but also the surrounding towns. This concept also applies to Hotel and Tourism Business, where we construct our Group hotels with the aim of contributing to the revitalization of local communities and the growth of local economies by increasing local employment and the number of visitors through hotels. One of these projects is the Shimayume Project on Sado Island, which we have been working on since 2017. This project has already created more than 150 jobs, and its activities continue to expand every year.

For human resource development, we have various training programs based on the “Sun Frontier Philosophy,” which we have been working on since our foundation, positioning the development of human resources as the cornerstone of corporate development and the first step toward social contribution. These programs are the Group's most distinctive feature. We are promoting the creation of workplaces that provide employees with “job satisfaction,” “creativity,” and “growth opportunities,” and making protecting all employees and achieving both material and spiritual happiness the priority of management.

Achieving the medium-term management plan and towards the future

At the Group, we are currently implementing a medium-term management plan, which ends in the fiscal year ending March 2025, based on the basic policy of “providing places where people gather and communicate with each other, and create social development and happiness for people.”

In today's globalized society, the impact of pandemics and conflicts is global. No matter what unforeseen circumstances may arise in the future, we believe that the enduring pillar of altruism will have a major impact on the realization of a harmonious world and a sustainable society. Based on this, we will promote sustainability management toward the achievement of the medium-term management plan and the future.
